Land of Fear/Audio visual installation / 2 x 1.5 x 1 m/2018

A story about a police officer who was assigned to a secret mission as an undercover drug dealer, with the license to kill, deal in drugs, and do whatever is required for his identity to remain secret, with the ultimate purpose of reporting back to his supervisors. Gradually, after years of losing grip over his mission and purpose, realising that being a drug dealer has become his true identity, and that he hasn't heard back once from his supervisors, he then goes and tries to contact them back, only to realise that the designated postman had never delivered back any of the reports to his supervisors, let alone is aware that they exist.

This is the premise on which the film structure was based. This person who lives in two characters, where we hear the voice over of the officer Yahya throughout the film in the background هn a different dramatic framework (Arabic-phlegmatic language) while Adam Abu Deborah lives in the in the other side of the framework with (Egyptian language slang).

This project presents the content of the difference, the audio and visual sides, simulates the different worlds, The installation combines table with two chairs on the sides, dual-seated audience on the chairs; each side has a different digital collage pieces 100x150 cm. The sound of the installation will be different in the two sides also, one side will contains the voice over of the movie recorded by Abyusif ‘s voice.
